Keyboard to laptop

    Hey does anyone know where I can get a cable that converts midi to USB into a laptop? Waltons are quoting me 200 quid etc for midi converters! Amazon have cables for $6 etc. would they work? Just need to be able to use piano learning software that requires midi input output to a computer. Thanks!

    The $6 one will work fine for what you want. I presume Walton's were quoting for an interface.

    Nope, I don't live in Dublin. I picked up mine for a couple of quid on eBay.
