    We’re back and we’re trying new things!

    We’ve decided to carry out a little experiment for 2015 and we’re having a one day event in September.

    This year the TM Cycle takes place on Saturday the 26th September 2015. We are still finalising the finer details of the route but we’ll have two distances, 120k and 140k for those that want to stretch the legs a little more!

    So far the route looks blessedly flat and is a beautiful tour around Kildare skipping briefly into Offaly for the 140k route.

    As always, we’re looking for cyclists to raise sponsorship and join in on our cycle.

    Even if cycling isn’t your strong suit, you can still take part by grabbing a bucket and joining in with the other collectors who will be out on the streets of the towns the cycle passes through cheering along the weary legs and shaking their buckets collecting for Pieta House. All sponsorship money collected and money collected in the buckets during the cycle goes directly to Pieta House the centre for Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm

    This will be our 8th year of the cycle and we’d love you to join in with us, get the word out about Pieta House’s services, raise some money and have some fun.

    PS if anyone has photos from the 2014 cycle send them to mccarthy.isobel@gmail.com and we’ll upload them.

    Its the first year as a one day event,
    Think 140 people did the cycle in the end weather was perfect was even worrying about getting sun burned....
    Well done to the organisers, volunteers and marshals on the day.
    A great day out had by all and got a lovely jersey to add to the collection.

    Have to say I really enjoyed it as well. Couldn't have asked for better weather. All for a great cause as well.
