Hoping someone can answer my question.

I sent in two claims for illness benefit after mislaying the forms. Both were two separate 7 days free from work due to pregnancy illness.

I saw that the rules have been changed from 3 to 6 days before you are entitled to claim So technically, i am only entitled to 1 days payment on each claim.

I checked my account this morning and noticed that a lodgement was made by the social for just over €31 euro. Surely this couldnt be right? My emloyment deducted alot more unpaid sick leave from my wages in lieu of SW payment.

Illness Benefit is €31.30 per day. Your problem is with your employer, not SW.
You should contact the payroll department at your place of work.
Remember, if you don't have sn employment contract which specifys a sick pay scheme, then you have no legislative entitlement to sick pay.
