Notice period

Hi,

Hoping someone may be able to assist. Basically I want to give my months notice to resign. It's a sales role where we have been told you have to work a full calendar month to get your sales bonus for that month so obviously I don't want to lose that. I was thinking about giving notice tomorrow and advising I would leave on Monday 3rd aug to give me the full month worked for July however that Monday is a bank holiday where the office is closed. Does anyone know if this would count as an actual day in the following month. My reasoning would be that this would as you would be usually paid for that day.. Any thoughts? Thanks
