Real Singolo Single Speed?

Anyone here buy one of the Real Singolo single speeds from Halfords?

I've been looking for a low maintaince run about for a while now but haven't pulled the trigger because I don't want to overspend for what will essentially be a bike I just to cycle to the train station, the shops or whatever and will be locked to a post outside for a good chunk of its life.

I'm a shade under 5'10, and they only come in 58cm sizing.

Now, depending on which sizing guide I use online that is either at the very upper end of the line for someone my height or 3 sizes too large.

What ya think lads, will it be an ok size for me or should I consider the search?

58 sounds too big for you. I'm 6'3" and typically take a 58.

Was thinking as much. Poop. Looks pretty much perfect for my needs.

15.7kg is crazy heavy for a single speed

If that's your budget look at create bikes or similar.

They're so ugly though. I don't really have a budget I just don't want to spend money on what will be a beater.

I hadn't seen the weight, surely that can't be right?

Gaspipe steel, cheap, heavy and built for low speeds

Have a look at Foffa bikes in on track in Dublin. Might be better looking, better quality for under 500 bills
