Hey was just wondering could somebody help me out last year when we were going away I saw in the duty free it was €25 for 2 litres of spirits... I was looking on the duty free website and doesn't seem to be the case this year? Has anybody been away recently that could let me know if this is or isn't the case please? :) thank you

    Prices depend on your destination.

No duty-free within EU since 1992.

Yes, duty free status, that's why I mentioned my destination

That's why I'm so confused this time round because I went to Portugal last year and the 2 for 25 offer was still in the duty free area in Cork :/ so I don't know.. And this year we are going to majorca so just wanted to see was it the same thing

You can't buy it going to Portugal, or Majorca. It was there for other flights

The off licences in airports will usually sell to anybody, but charge duty if applicable. In dublin airport I have seen dual pricing on labels, the duty free price being big and the price including duty in a smaller font.

I went to germany a few years back and although it was not duty free I was getting spirits cheaper in the airport off licence than I have seen it in some airports at duty free prices.
