    Hey all moved up to Belfast 2 years ago and these girls were my savior! Found the move from Limerick really difficult but once I started playing Rugby at Malone Belfast started to feel more and more like home! Our ad is below and no matter what size or skill set you are you are welcome at Malone!!!

    Malone Rugby Club Women’s and Girls’ Rugby Teams CALLS ON ALL FEMALES TO TAKE UP THE SPORT here with us at MRFC, in both our new adult development team for absolute beginners and both our youth teams U15s & U18s – age 11/12ys to 17ys for beginners also.

    Pre Season Starts 7pm Tuesday 21st of July at Gibson Park Ave, Cregagh Road, Belfast, Antrim BT6 9GL

    Adult Training days are Tuesdays 7pm to 8.30pm, Thursdays 8pm to 9.15pm and match days Sundays 1pm to 3pm.

    Youth Training days are Wednesday 7pm to 8.30pm. Match days Sundays 1pm

    This season 2015/16 Malone are looking for complete novice’s too experienced
    players to join our teams. Absolutely no experience required for us at Malone will teach you all you need to know. All we ask is that you are keen to try and keen to have a laugh. We are all about the fun, friendship and learning all at an easy going pace.

    So if you are 11/12 to 18+ we have a place for you both on our Youth and Adult teams.

    If you have an athletic background wishing to try rugby then you are absolutely wanted, or from any other sports background. Your skills from other sports will transfer into Rugby Union very well.

    Facilities: Private changing area with showers, WC & heating. Fully equipped gym for strength and conditioning. Two private fitness instructors based in MRFC, with all equipment including spin classes etc if you wish to avail of them. All rugby equipment required for your learning. Only items you personally need to have are Gum shields and football boots of which are not important to begin with. Just turn up in comfortable clothing to train in and take in from there.

    Our aim as a club and team is to promote fitness and well being in a supportive atmosphere. We want you to enjoy your time at Malone while taking on a new achievable challenge of playing rugby union, which you clearly can when you join us.

    If you are interested please contact;

    Coach Johnny on 07907300704

    Hi Lisa,

    Is it still possible to join or is it too late in the season?

    No definitely not new girls joining all the time!! We have a match tomorrow at 1 if you want to get a feel for it and see the girls in action if not you can come along on a Tuesday evening at 7. Just wrap up warm and you will just need a pair of trainers to start with!
