2 30 Brighton. I put up Expensive Taste a few two runs ago when Kirby rode it. Was well supported and ran poorly. Has dropped 6lbs for his last two runs having run that day off 57 runs off 51 tomorrow. At 20/1 I think its worth a small play. 1 pt win

Charlie's Mate has been banging on the door for my chum John Best - it goes in the 4:30. Torthai an Ghra in the 8:20 has shown bits and pieces of form and carries no weight at all and might just put in a good performance.

Not for me at the price. Think he is also better over an extended mile or 1m 1f.

Think your old buddy knights templar the most likely winner but seems priced right.

Any view on Cheers Buddy in the second at hamilton. Think I will either lump on or leave it. Cant decide though. 4/1 is very tempting.

Not one I'd place on a lump list being honest

Have had 2 decent bets at Gowran.

Might Fine, if ignoring his last run when he was badly bumped after 3f and still only beaten 5 lenghts he has a chance, his draw is ok and the trip and ground should be fine, will be arriving late so trffic could be the issue, looks to have been well back overnight too. I've on ew

Splashtop, if the ground was on the soft side of good id be having a max bet as i think the filly is on a nice mark, and with the claimer taking 10 off , she has plenty of pace i expect her to lead, wether she'll be able to hang on with the ground on the quick side i dont know, ive backed her at 12/1 and money back if she places with Bet365

I've done a $1 yankee with the 2 above and 2 horses who are well handicapped on old form but would need everything to drop right for them, Regal Power and Prince Jock, if they won and i wasnt on id be ragin!

One I've backed the last twice, Kittens Red, is worth another chance back on the turf in the 4.00 Brighton. Looks unlikely to live up to his grandiose US pedigree but should still be up to winning a race of this nature if things go his way. Looked a but flat footed at a key stage on the AW last time out and hopefully reverting back to a more unconventional circuit today (won at Bath previously) can pay dividends. 8/1 looks very fair and I think he's as likely a winner as any of these lot.

Always amusing when a Coolmore hot favourite drifts like a barge before the off. US Navy Seal no exception today.
