Help wanted seeking car (long shot)

I'll keep it short. I was cycling down the quays tonight (heading towards O'Connell street. Edit - Bachelors Walk) and came across a driver that was off his head on drink and/or drugs. After clipping the kerb numerous times in front of me, I made the daft decision of getting in front of him. Upon doing so I was screamed at, to which he then sped up past me and violently swerved at me 3 or 4 times, missing me by no more than a few inches.

I'm not one to get shook but this really threw me and I was unable to get his full reg. I want to go to the Guards about this but at the minute it is a bit pointless as I have no full plates.

I know a good few boardsies use this road and maybe have encountered him or the car and could help me identify it. (Please keep all details to PM and do not post anything on the thread as I don't want to break any rules)

    Black Toyota Avensis 11 - D - (four numbers I think)

Go to the Gardai with the info you have. If you are insistent enough that you want to press charges then the gards should be able to check their traffic cams or cctv in the area and track this thug down.

The reg info and car info you gave in the opening post should be enough to identify him.
Years ago I came across a driver who was shouting at other drivers. He gave a woman driver loads of abuse when stopped at traffic lights in Ringsend. I told her to pull in and park and let him drive up the road. He was on drugs or had mental problems.
