Just reading about the shooting at the gym in UL. Being treated as attempted murder. Limerick seemed to shaking its gangland image but I fear recent events are not good for the city. The fact it happened in UL which is such a positive for the city is even worse.

What are these other 'recent events' relating to gangland crime ?

He wasn't an alleged member of a biker gang he was an actual member of a motorcycle club. While he was certainly shot and killed he was an innocent victim who just really happened to love motorcycles. Trying to imply that his enjoyment of sharing his love of motorcycles with other people who also love them made him some sort of alleged criminal is completely fantastical along with a pretty vile display of victim blaming.

he was a member of the road tramps mcc not sons of anarchy, that club does many charity events every years and raises lots of money for local causes such as milford house, cpi and many more......there are no motor cycle gangs in Ireland just clubs. RIP

World Class sports facilities in UL, but the olympic shooting team won't be winning any medals at Rio next year

My thoughts are with those sick people lying on trolleys yesterday, waiting for hours on end to get medical attention, not to mention those who were scheduled for operations too, as all were pushed aside in order to prioritize saving the life of one of Limerick’s notorious criminals at the expense of the rest.
