Room stats 7 zoning

I'll soon have to decide how many and where to place room stats in my house.

My initial idea was to have a room stat in every main room and bedrooms upstairs but now my thinking is to have just one downstairs and have one in every bedroom (different people have different tolerances of heat in bedrooms).

Any comments on this and where should my main downstairs controller go - utility room?

Yes, sorry, will have both plus A2W heat pump and stand alone wood burning stove.

I spoke with my heating installer yesterday and he suggesed installing them anyway (included in the price). They can always be set to the same temp downstairs and the same temp upstairs so have the flexibility of zoning or not.
