Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
Going skiing in QT in July 26th for 2 weeks, anybody got any recommendations/tips on areas to go etc. I'm a beginner and will be wanting to rent all the gear.

There are two local spots - Coronet peak and the remarkables (More further afield - treble cone and cardrona), both average compared with Europes top destinations but grand for learning on. The remarks would probably have the easier beginner slopes.

You will need to either drive to the ski field or get the bus - allow an hour each way! Loads of rental spots in the town itself but the ski fields do packages with groups which might be easier.
