    Hi all..
After having my Mirena for 2 years I had it removed last Wednesday. Just looking for other people's stories on how long it took to become pregnant after having it removed. I'm 36 now so hoping and praying it won't take too long.

    Hi teggers5,

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm 31 and have had my mirena for 4 1/2 years, I had it removed 3 weeks ago, never had any periods on it but did get some spotting the last 3 months pretty regularly.

Had what I think was a period for 4 days after it was removed and am now trying to figure out if I am or have ovulated! I have been taking ovulation tests but no positive yet :/ although (sorry if TMI..) had some EWCM on Saturday which I am taking as a good sign.

This is our first time trying so trying to be patient and we're both really excited to try but nervous to see how long it takes my body to get back to normal!

    Hi Meubles,
Just an update on how I got on..
About 6 weeks after the mirena was removed I had a horrendous period. It was so so heavy but only lasted a couple of days thank God. I had installed an app on my phone to track ovulation and planned on using it for a couple of months to try and get a pattern.
But 3 weeks ago I discovered I was pregnant! I never expected to happen so fast but we are absolutely thrilled!!
Hopefully it'll happen as quickly for you :)
