Early years education - approximate costs

    Good evening everyone!

As you may have read in a previous post, my family and I will be relocating to Galway City soon and I am currently trying to get as informed as possible about everything. We have a newborn son and a daughter who turns 3 in August. As she's already used to attending nursery every day, I'd like to continue to give her this routine from September but am unaware of the average costs and prerequisites for entry.
From doing a bit of research on Google I get the impression that all 3 - 5 year old nursery education is based on the Monstessori philosophy. Is this the case? If so, I think that's great as I'm aware of it providing a much better learning experience to children than the more traditional approaches. That said, I'm slightly scared to know the cost of sending a child to such a nursery as here in Spain Montessori is prohibitively expensive.
Would anyone know approximately how much it would cost to send a 3 year old Mon - Fri half day, so 9 - 12:30 more or less? I've contacted a couple of places but not yet heard back from them.

Also, are nurseries respectful of children's readiness regarding toilet training etc or do they generally have an official policy of the child being totally toilet trained at the start of the year?

That's all I can think of right now...thanks so much in advancd for any info you could share.

For the free preschool year (ECCE scheme) Children usually need to be potty trained but some play schools also have playschool rooms and usually they don't have to be.
Some schools here refer to themselves as Montessori schools but are not.

Here is an example of one - http://www.tiddlywinksandscallywags.ie/ (my son goes here)
They have proper montessori classes and a playschool class.
They also have their pricing structure on the website.

If you need any help feel free to pm me, I do work with families relocating to Dublin .
