    Hi,

The front suspension collapsed on the car yesterday - the spring snapped off! Luckily it was only about 100 yards from the house so it's not too far away at the moment. Unfortunately the insurance doesn't have breakdown cover (first policy and never thought I'd need to ask to add it).

Does anybody know the best place to go to get the car towed - it doesnt need to go too far.

    Thanks

Get some mates to push it? 100 yards ain't that far.

You should be able to drive it if you remove the spring - though take it real handy. I say first gear clutched in with no gas handy.

Cheers. I need to get it towed a few km's to a garage to have it fixed. The tyre was rubbing when I tried to drive it - the spring snapped at the top but it is still attached so it's just rotating around.
