PAYG dongles

I'm generally within range of a decent wifi signal but know I'll have almost two months out west later this year. From prior experience, local wifi is dial-up speed where it is available. I think a dongle is my best bet but since I will use it perhaps two or three times a year, bill-pay doesn't seem an option.

Can anyone advise on what might currently be available and good value?
