Water meter installation

    In my house I still don't have a water meter. How can I know when it is going to be installed?

    I think that it will be more convenient for me to pay for water that I really use rather than a flat rate.

    When your property has been identified as suitable for metering you will be scheduled to have a meter installed. Other properties which have been identified as currently "non-meterable" (e.g. apartments, backyard services) will be considered for further phases of meter rollout.

    Unfortunately Irish Water is not in a position to give specific dates as to when customers can expect to have a meter installed, however you will receive an Irish Water information pack at least 14 days before metering work is due to commence.
