I'm half tempted to tune in. What match is going to be opening the show, have you any idea?

    The above X-Division match.

I don't watch tna but it's live and I've nothing better to do so perfect set up for a fish out of water comedy.

Pope is awful on commentary, the only adjective in his vocabulary seems to be amazing. Even TNA could afford to spring for a thesaurus.

Pretty good opener. Lively crowd. Pope and the TNA production are awful.

TNA and WCW would have been less-bankrupt companies if they aired live PPVs in the UK/Ireland. Two horribly-ran wrestling companies.

That JB promo thanking everyone felt like something from the final Nitro. Sad.

One of my wrestling pet peeves is when someone undergoes a complete character change in a week, its totally unrealistic and would be laughed at in any other entertainment medium. Jesse went from being a broski guy to being Chris Masters mini me in basically no time at all.

Well it was what it was. Watched it on skyplus this morning before work. It was more like a TV show than a PPV.

Magnus and Storm was a good match minus the Apollo / Rocky like finish, but its hard to really invest knowing these guys are out of here.

Aries Richards was the MOTN for me but that wasnt hard. It had a decent opener in an X Division match.

The KOTM match was a bit of a cluster****, the commenatary team couldnt keep up with the bizarre rules. No idea where tehy are going with Jarrett winning but Im over his return already and find it hard to care.

Jessie G is Chris Masters 2.0 with less natural charisma. Robbie E is betetr suited as a heel and I dont care for him as a face.

EC3 and Tyrus won a nothing match, but at least he is still winning going into Wednesdays Bell2bell.

It wasnt too bad in fairness but it just didnt feel like a PPV.

I missed the knockouts match due to sleep, saw everything else though and woke up this morning with my head spinning, just this odd post TNA hangover.

I remember my thoughts varying from "I hate this" to "what's going on here" and a bit of laughter in between at the production quality. It was basically every TNA show I've ever seen, overbooked, nonsensical, a cheap copy of a late 90's wrestling show. Nothing stuck, nothing memorable happened, the X division guys did their flips, Aries tried to rise above the nonsense, token garbage match that went too long, stupid stipulation match, then Jarrett wins. That's been TNA for 13 years, nothing changes.

Dead on but with the add on of direct and indirect references to it being people's final night or it being the end and Wrestlers post match looking out at the IMPACT zone one last time.

The Jeff Jarrett thing was very:

Very true, it was like everyone was referencing a recent death in the family that they just couldn't bring themselves to talk about bluntly.

Rovert whats your opinion on Dylan Hales? Just listening to the PTBN reaction pod to the TNA ppv and it seems like he has tonnes of dirt on TNA but because of friends wont mention anything.

    The above X-Division match.
I tuned in when Jessie Godderz was making his entrance, and then my internet went awry so I just went asleep before that match even ended. Seems like was okay?

I enjoyed the show. Bar Aries/Richards there's nothing really worth going out of your way to see but it was mostly a show of good solid matches.

Dylan is sound and he does in fact have a lot of dirt. He sits on it as he has a lot friends in Wrestling and would kind of burn bridges. If I hear something truly crazy and big I tend to ask him.

Thats what I thought. Just thought Id ask. Personally I cant wait for TNA to fold if only so all this dirt becomes public knowledge and Bob Ryder loses his job! And the pod with Bix, Dylan and Will will be fcukin brilliant

What a stupid and unnecessary spot! And Young didnt even protect Jeff, if that ladder fell it would have been a horrendous injury inflicted on Jarrett

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Stupid spot. Meant nothing in the story of an overbooked mess of a match and was forgotten about by the commentary and live crowd roughly 15 seconds after it happened.
