some years ago on a flight from Dallas to New York, when the plane was nearly vertical in take off seatbelts fastened the whole lot, a woman stood up and started waving franticly at the stewardess.
everyone thought something very serious was wrong. stewardess came back and the woman asked where's the light switch for reading!

a mild example and not worthy of her being thrown off the plane, but I'm of the opinion that if someone causes a decent disturbance on a plane or interferes with the flight of the plane they should never be allowed fly again, regardless of what they took, drank etc etc
there are tons of stories far worse in the news these days.
got any examples? do you agree?
