Sealing internal stone wall

Just at the end of a new build where we have installed an internal stone wall (With Liscannor stone). The wall needs at least a clean to get rid of dust/plaster, but would there be sealing required to enhance the stonework? (I think I was told at the time it didnt need any sealing but I feel we need something!) If so, what…
