In seriousness though, the Sikhs have a long warrior tradition (Rajaputs) and were used prominently across the British Empire on account of them generally being hard bastards. There has been serious political violence in India involving Sikh separatists as well.

There's a thin line between extremist and nutjob. I don't know if he crossed it. I didn't see any evidence of mental illness. He looked like someone who had made his mind up to do something to validate his beliefs and did it.

I have to agree with the family of the victim. If it were reversed he would have been called a terrorist. The only reason he's not is because he's white.

Fact. The killer of Lee Rigby, Michael Adobelajo, was a well known nutcase; as in he used to walk around Greenwich DLR station talking to himself. However his actions were designated a form of domestic terrorism and were the source of major social and political debate.

I haven't once heard the term domestic terrorist used about this attempted murder, despite it being a politically motivated attack by a member of a neo-Nazi hate group that preaches violence against non whites.
