I looked on zooplus but they don't seem to have the individual parts for sale. This is the one we have http://www.zooplus.ie/shop/cats/scratching_posts/large/large_cat_trees_height_180_cm/494276 and because Peach is a fat bum she caused too much strain on the top part so the top of the box part has collapsed in a bit and it's causing the top tower to be tilted. I imagine its only a matter of time before it completely breaks. The rest of it is in perfect condition so it would seem a bit stupid (and expensive) to replace the entire thing when it's just the box part we need! I could probably try make one but me and DIY don't mix so well :o Has anyone bought just individual parts before?!

The boxes just seem to be two rectangles, four pieces of dowel and some fabric. If cutting wood is the issue, home base and b&q both cut wood in store for free, and sometimes they have off cuts from previous customers cheap.

We got a piece of MDF 50cm x 50cm for €1 from B&Q, a tall cardboard roll from a printer free, a length of carpet we had from doing the house and paid €4 for some of the scratching pole rope.. Ta-da one tall pole which princess foxy can stretch herself to full height and then some.

We're going to enlarge her 'castle' next as she's outgrowing it.
