    Grateful. As in having gratitude.

Greatful isn't a word, but it probably should be for those occasions when something is so full of great that it needs a new word to describe it.

Could you use it in a sentence?

I'm always very weary of greatful people. Sometimes I loose sleep over them.

This Irish thing of "I seen" really needs to die in a fire. It's endemic at this stage.

Grateful. The word stems from "Gratus".

We need a greater appreciation of irony too, we're not Americans.

There is a grate full of ash in the living room, clean it out and put down a fresh fire.

Why are you lighting a fire at this time of year?

    To keep the dampness out.

If you google 'greatful' you get a message asking "did you mean grateful" because 'greatful' isn't a word.

"Grateful" comes from the same places as "gratitude."

"Definitely" comes from the same place as "finish" / "finite." <
If everyone could stop spelling it as "definately," that'd be...... (wait for it)....... great.
