Hi there i am looking for some advice from anybody who has installed their own stove.I am in the process of installing a stanley ardmore non boiler stove. My query is when fitting the enamel flu to the top of the stove using the adaptor provided it does not sit flush with the adaptor. The two screws which are holding the adaptor in place are stopping it sitting down. Maybe its a design flaw but it does not seem right to me.
If anyone has come across this or knows the solution it would b greatly appreciated.
I probably will put some rope around the adaptor and bed it in with fire cement??

I was looking at fitting same stove ardmore in my simidetached house and wondered how is yours going
My friends are teling me to get a big stove but i though a smaller stove with a bigger fire is better rather thsn the fire being lost in the bigger stove
    Would appreciate your views
