cut the silage the end of may and put in another few fields gone strong into the pit last Tuesday. Pit covered last Wednesday. thing is the pit had to go up to the sky to fit all the silage in and it was the biggest pit I ever had. the last 1/4 of the pit tyres got scarce and I only didn't put tyres side by side as I wouldn't of had enough. getting a few loads of olf car tyres delivered tomorrow. would it be ok to go back now and put tyre by tyre or would I only be disturbing it?

I think it would be important that you get those tyres on asap. I wouldn't have any concerns about disturbing anything.

Be fine we often go back to tighten plastic. Do you have high sides and high end covered in tyres? This is the important bit

ya lorry tyres around the edge and car tyres up the rest of the wall with bags of sand under the lorry tyres. just need to finish the last 1/4 with tyre to tyre.
