What's the difference between different crown types?

    Hi,

My dentist told me that I need a crown on a tooth at the very back of my mouth on my lower jaw. He gave me three options for crowns, each option costing €650, €750 or €850.

The two cheapest I think are ceramic with metal inside, and the most expensive option is either porcelain or gold I think.

I've already discussed the options with him, but would love some other opinions. Lowest on my priority list is aesthetics, as it's a tooth at the back of my mouth. I'm tempted to go for the cheapest option, but any thoughts are welcome.

He said the €650 and €750 options are similar but differ in the type of metal used and the supplier that makes them.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
