Best bike problem ever

Bike shop include free servicing as standard with new bike.
I need not such thing, and live too far away.
In lieu of waiver, I get €100 of stuff from the shop.
Best problem ever: need to decide what to get for free form the bike shop...

    Have:
    - old bike which doesn't really need much moar other then new bar grips.
    - a good few tools, but could do with a torque wrench.

    Might need:
    - dont have a workstand, have been suspending from shed roof with rope.
    - could get 9sp shifter and chain for the old bike, have enough other parts to upgrade from 8...

Anyone advise on what they would consider to be absolute essentials as a road/touring cyclist?
I can't really think of anything I really need.

You can get an excellent workstand in Lidl or Aldi if you want to wait, usually cost €30 and are on sale sevaeral times a year.

Spend the cash on something else.
