    Hi,

Some friends are visiting Ireland in September and are looking to rent a car - as cheaply as possible. Can anybody recommend any cheap, reliable car rental companies?

    Thanks!

www.arguscarhire.ie is a broker site, see what it offers you.

    Autoeurope.ie
    Carhire3000.ie

DO NOT rent on the US site... it looks much cheaper but you will get stung for insurance that's not included when you pickup the car.

+1! Have used them in Ireland and all over the world and have always gotten good deals.

Yup, used all three and a few German brokers too, they don't really do anything other than give you a Voucher for rental, if anything goes wrong you deal directly with the Rental Company.

Unless of course you take the insurance from the broker, but then you still sort it yourself and claim off the brokers insurance.
