    don't see why not, that sign seems to indicate no overtaking. You couldn't over take if you weren't allowed there in the first place.

    OK so if a LUAS is behind me, I wouldn't be considered "blocking" it?

    I'm more familiar (in terms of sharing the road with the Luas) with cycling down Middle Abbey Street where the LUAS line is distinctly separate and you would generally only cross over onto it to overtake someone briefly.

    sure it's going to stop at the next stop, you're not, it won't be behind you for long. A car would equally be blocking it. Just watch out for those pesky rails.

    Yes, cycling down George's dock is perfectly legal, though a pain in the hole going across the tracks when you need to turn.

    As ken says there are loads of stops along there, so unless you're granny-pootling along at 10km/h, the odds of you holding up a LUAS are minimal.
