    Ok

So my little one is just turning 2 and has decided now to take her arms out of Axiss car seat every time she gets in car. Have tried everything and she always gets her arms out. Very worried if I was in crash she might get seriously hurt

    I bought 2 of the following: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Harness-Strap/dp/B00OHGD88Y/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1435218241&sr=8-3&keywords=car+seat+strap

but when I tried to put them on the car seat it won't work because the end's of the Axiss are too big to push into the hole. Just wondering has anyone had this problem and know of a strap I could buy? Thanks

Hi redgirl, are you anywhere near a tony Kelly's?
I don't have the same seat as you but had the same problem until I bought this gadget from besafe
    http://www.pushchairsandcarseats.co.uk/item/3132/besafe-belt-guard.aspx
Tony sells them for €5 or they also have this "Anti escape" gadget that goes on like a waistcoat but some babies still manage to escape from it!!

    Hi Redgirl,

The clip you got is not really legal in Europe... it is common in the US. This could be why it doesn't fit your straps. Car seat straps must be able to be opened in one movement in the case of emergency and someone not used to a car seat should be able to identify how to do this. That is why the button to open the harness is red - an indicator of how to open it.

I found this out a few years ago when I had an escape artist. The anti-escape system worked for us. You don't put it on the child, but behind them and on the straps. It makes the arm hole much smaller, which is why they can't get out. If you use the smaller one for a bigger child that is when they most likely will still be able to escape. Buy for your 2 year old I would still say the small one would be ok.

Hope it works for you... I know your worry!

Tony kealy's seem to be out of stock of it, but if you google "5 point plus anti escape system" you will see a few other retailers that have it, some online retailers, also mothercare. Also have a look at 5pointplus.com
