    So here we go....
Venue: Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Seth Rollins, Kane and Joey Mercury kicked off the show. They acknowledged Jamie Noble's injuries before Ryback interrupted. For some reason, Kane booked himself against the IC champion while Rollins issued a challenge to Dean Ambrose to fight him later.

Sheamus defeated Ziggler when Rusev provided a distraction. After the match, Summer Rae applauded Rusev's actions and winked at The Bulgarian Brute.

Alicia Fox defeated Naomi. Tamina took the Bella Twins out at ringside with a double superkick.

Ryback defeated Kane by disqualification when Big Show interfered. The former tag champions left The Big Guy in need of assistance.
The Lucha Dragons and Prime Time Players defeated Bo Dallas and The New Day.

A backstage segment involving Ambrose and Roman Reigns aired, with Reigns being haunted by Bray Wyatt's parlor tricks.

Rollins defeated Ambrose when Mercury interfered.

They really have no idea what to do with Ambrose do they?

you must remember, long term, they only really ever always know what Cena and Brock are doing. That's all Vince cares about.

There's a reason they haven't butchered Kevin Owens yet.

    1. By all accounts, Vince is high on him. So that's big. But,
    2. He's involved with Cena, so it'll be more thought out than pretty much anything else.

Cena has been positioned around the US Title scene for several months now. I don't see how anyone can come to the conclusion that he is the sole focus of the company or all Vince cares about.

Not sure what you mean as Brock isn't going to be on Smackdown or house shows so you have to pair Rollins up with someone. I've no problem with it being Ambrose as they work well together.

I think what he means that he's done seeing Dean being Ambroses fodder and would like to see him in a fresh storyline where his character can develop beyond "I wanna kill Seth"

What's the alternative? Not the IC Title picture as that would kill Ryback's push. Bray is occupied; and besides, that rivalry has been done. Cena is busy with Owens in the US Title scene.

The only alternative I can see is Sheamus, and I doubt that's much of an improvement.

In all honestly it's ridiculous to suggest that getting to work with the World Champion (who will be in the main event program of Summerslam probably), and being protected in the finishes with him, is some sort of raw deal. On the contrary I think they are handling him quite well. Personally, I would have had Rollins go over him clean in order to build for Lesnar. He is being treated fine.

Putting Bo with New Day seemed like a no brainer. Such a positive team! :D

Next for Ambrose has got to be going after Owens presuming he takes the US title off Cena

Does it not further exemplify the problem thAt it is so hard to think of a feud for the second biggest (based on card and PPV position) face in the company?
It shouldn't be an excuse that they have no one for him to move on to after months. It should be the main argument against WWE...

I don't think WWE are having any problems at all, going from what's been on our screens of late. It can't be high drama all the time. They've been performing well when it has mattered.

The finish is foreshadowed and predictable but Ambrose-Rollins is a match people should seek out.

Really liked that. Great character work.
