Bring your own beer party's What's ur opinion on them ?? Full of posers who think there too good to go to pubs

In Waterford there is a hair dressers/entertainment venue which has party's where it's BYOB and there are also gigs which run in local art galleries etc.

I prefer pubs more than alternative venues such as art galleries, warehouses etc

Byob = Bring your own bitches...

The only word beginning with B that you should use to describe a woman is Beautiful

    Bitches love being called Beautiful

It's called the bearded lady and it has acoustic guitar sessions and djs on sometimes . Good place I'd say

Anyone ever been to Geoff's pub in Waterford ??. Imo is full of posers and people who think there hipp and cool. There's no TV in there and u can't have a sing song or anything

Oh yeah I know it just very surreal to walk passed seeing some lad getting a cut and another playing bongos behind him!

I have no idea how the bearded lady makes money at all in waterford with free in and bring your own beer the idea of them kind of places just make me shake my head as sounds like my idea of hell. When i go out i don't wont to be bringing my bottles with me i rather just go to a pub. On the page for the place i see your one who owns it promoting the bring your own drink then her hair cuts LoL.

The art gallery next to it is a place where you plan on going for a bit of pills and magic stuff when do have there raves in there at the weekends ;).

Geoffs is a great place. Better off with no TV at lest you can talk to the people your with isn't that the point of going to a bar ?. If you don't like the people that go in there i would say don't step a foot in Grimes as that place is worse then Geoffs for it but is also a fantastic bar.

Grimes is actually my local believe it or not and my dads local for about 40 years . We kind of have an area we always stand at . It's a good place but can be overcrowded sometimes

It used to be a working mans pub in its day but now its full of hipsters. My 1st night in it was after my very last exam in waterford after living there for 4 years . Sorry i didn't head there before as it has some great craft beers and at only 5 euros a bottle you cant go wrong.

I went to one of them BYOB one night in a art gallery one night as the girl i was dating had her opening night expo so i came down for a bit of support. Just say i might have looked like i fitted in there but my god it was the worst night in my life as i remember someone coming over to me talking about a painting she asked me do i get lost looking into the painting ?. I went na i don't its a painting LoL. The people who go to them are so up there own asses worse then myself LoL

in waterford and this could probably go for all of Ireland is that higher class people look down on small social standing people. Waterford is full of up ur own arse types as are other cities and towns in Ireland

There are not many working men's pubs left in Waterford city

Sounds perfect. Nothing worse than endless Sky Sports/Sky News playing ad nauseum in a pub.

Weird to see posters knocking the idea of any pub/drinking venue that is anything out of the ordinary. I mean, there are literally thousands of pubs in the country to choose from. Not like you're being forced to look at modern art in a hairdressers/bar.
