If you fail an exam in NUIG and fail the repeat in August do you have to repeat the year or are you out.
Is there one rule for all courses.
If you have to repeat year do you lose free fees for the remainder of your studies or just one year
What is the fee for repeating a year

If you wish to continue the course you have to repeat whatever exams/continual assessments your subjects require.
If you fail the repeat you have the option of repeating the year and the modules you failed.
If you repeat a year you do not lose the free fees for the remainder of your studies. You will pay fees for the year that you repeat and once you progress you go back to free fee's.
It varies on whether you repeat internally or externally as to the fee you pay. Contact the University for exact cost
