Return journey times with Irish Rail

Hi, Heading to Dublin for meeting tomorrow. Getting early train up, but don't know what time I will be finished in my meeting. If I book a late return ticket, do you know if you will be allowed use it on an earlier train? Thanks Chris

If you book online, then you can change trains at the booking office, on payment of a €10 fee.

If you buy your ticket at the station, then it's valid on any train.
