    Hi.
I need to get a softener in and unfortunately I have only room for one inside under the sink. I can get clack metered in size 9x19 which has a capacity of 2000L before regeneration. there is two adults and two kids in the house. My question is how often would one that size regenerate? would it be expensive in the long run with watercharges? is it big enough?

Sorry for the delay ... a Clack 08x17 is around 8 litres capacity giving up to 1,000 to 2,000 litres between regens depending on water hardness from 400ppm down to 200ppm.

A Clack 09x19 if you can get one that size offering 2000 L between regens would wash every 8 days on an average family of 4 using 250 litres a day.
