Its important we cherish this culture at considerable taxpayer cost.

We really have to stop letting Longford men into our usually beautiful serene town. Nothing but trouble. Thankfully our brilliant Gardaí sorted it out in double quick time before sending them back to middle Ireland and letting them get on with their barbaric behaviour in their own towns.

Any chance of indicating what's in the link instead of making me click into the Daily Mail?

Although presumably it's about either diesel laundering, incest or travelers given the OP.

Funnily enough, its a story about a pair of incestuous diesel launderers who are members of a certain community.

Looks like they got nice weather for it and a good crowd, what's the problem?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Out of towners try to escape the drudgery and despair of their lives in middle Ireland. End up following the yellow brick road which leads to Dundalk. They celebrate reaching Nirvana by drinking twelve pints of cider. Get drunk. Revert to type. Start fighting. Get kicked out back to where they came from. The End.

It looks like some time travelers from the 1980s attacked a hairless gorilla on the streets of Dundalk.

Travelers that travel through time? As if normal ones weren't bad enough.

Is dress code not a thing in Courts - I know this was outside, but it is safe to assume that at least some of those pictured were going inside.

Why do people remove their tops before fights - surely it only makes an attacker trained in nipple pinches, chinese rope burns, and stingy-belly-slaps more effective.

Pighead takes off his expensive t-shirt before a fight a/ because they're expensive and b/ because he'll be damned if some scumbag's blood is going to infiltrate the fibres of his threads. Also it's an intimidation thing. Picture a gorilla pounding his chest before a fight. The chest is a symbol for brutality.

You'd make a very poor traveler. Wanting to get stuck straight into a fight - is a bit unreasonable and violent.

That's not how it's done at all.
You need hours of shouting. Threatening. Rolling sleeves up. Drinking. Handing your watch to your cousin, the wife. More shouts and threats. Five months of you tube videos and counter youtube videos. Threatening phone calls. Selling a horse to someone. Taking your shirt off. Throwing on the ground. Adjourning for drinks. Some more threats. Lots of dancing around in circles for twenty minutes with about three punches thrown.

I am going to call the Socialist Workers Party out of Dalkey and Blackrock to protest this racist thread.

These are a noble culture. Paragons of Virtue who radiate light from the absolute piety of their golden souls.

Have Pavee Point commented on the matter? They were very upset that a priest refused a traveller woman entrance to his chapel due to her choice of outfit so I'm sure that they will be issuing a statement on this matter shortly.

OP, please read the charter before posting in AH again.

    Thanks
Not every news story needs a thread on After Hours. Don't just post up a link to a news article just because nobody else has. Add something to it. Your own point of view.
If you do start a thread, be prepared to contribute to it yourself, especially if you expect others to do so.
