Is there a way to avoid paying foreign atm withdrawal fees, for a bank of Ireland current account. My friend travels between Canada and south America and Ireland. The fee is like 5euro every withdrawal so it adds up.

Is there any other cheaper options different cards etc???

    Thanks

Generally using credit cards for purchases abroad works out costing less than cash ATM withdrawals.
