He is involved in lots of the media services in Ireland and given that boards is so popular. Does he have an influence here?

I found him lurking behind the toilet the other morning.

"Oh Denny" I said "you're quite the boy".
Heard noises in the Wardrobe earlier, must check. You never know where he'll turn up.

Given that boards and broadsheet are owned by the same people and both carried links to transcripts of Catherine Murphys evidence revealing all that Dennis O'Brien wanted kept mum, I think we can safely say no,he has no part in it. Broadsheet was the only journalistic publication in Ireland to carry those links infact before the injunction was clarified.

Boards.ie and Broadsheet are both part of Distilled Media?

Never knew that. Broadsheet doesn't have any mention of DM on their website that I can see.

The amount of money Boards makes in a year I'd say wouldn't even cover his annual dry cleaning bill.

*This is not a dig at the man's weight. I resent the accusation tbh.

Broadsheet is owned by Sweatshop Media, which also runs Waterford Whispers News.

Whether Sweatshop has the same shareholders / directors as Distilled I am not sure.

Boards and the Journal are owned by Distilled Media. Broadsheet is a different operation.

Not sure if it's owned by Sweatshop, or if they are just the advertisers for it?

I may not be cash-rich but I've been collecting unused apostrophes for years and have many thousands of them.

Non-publicly listed companies still have shareholders. The main shareholders of Distilled Media (which includes boards.ie) are Eamonn and Brian Fallon, the original founders of daft.ie.
