HEY GUYS ,


Anyway here i go came in from work today to turn on the tv the last channel i was on was frozen so i went in software updates and pressed for update all good there next thing they found 71 updateds so proceeded from there pressed download and that where its gone all wrong box is not working NOW the front panel on the box says boot and on the tv its flicking from vix to hades back and forth ALL HELP NEEDED .

Reflash the box you are lucky the update didn't brick it. You are going to have to reflash the box, make sure to load the right image on it. The box is a clone and and there are copy cat versions of it. You might want to open up the box to see what type you have by seeing whats branded on it inside.

Vix don't support the cloud ibox2 so the vix image that was installed on it was modified/patched to run on it.
When you updated the image from the vix feeds, it probably has overwritten the modifications.
The first cloud ibox 2 is reported to be a clone of the maxdigital/mkdigital xp1000 /octagon sf8.
The cloud ibox 2+ its reported to be a clone of the Golden interstar Xpeed lx1.
Vix officially support the xp1000/sf8 and xpeedlx1 but you'll need a patched vix image for your ibox2.
