Navel piercing, small problem!

    Hey! Just wondering of anyone can help with a small problem?
    I got my belly button pierced back in December and around 2 months ago a small bump has appeared between the two openings of the piercing (not on the openings themselves, but the area where the bar is under the skin) It isn't painful or affecting the piercing at all, clear fluid has drained from it but no pus or sign of infection. I've been told it's a granuloma, my piercer said to continue with sea salt soaks. I was also told to take the piercing out completely (not by my piercer), but I am very reluctant to do so. Can anyone help?
