So i applied yesterday and am now waiting on a date to be confirmed. The test centre has a 9 week waiting time, so I would like to be ready before the day of the test. Any tips on what to do?

Become familiar with the test route(s).

Take a couple of mock tests with your ADI.

What about the test before the driving test?

Which test? Do you mean the theory questions asked by the tester? If so, there are many threads on this forum about that very issue.

Revise some theory e.g road signs, tyre thread depth etc and go over the test route a few times with your instructor.

If the OP is referring to the above, I found the below excellent.
