I recently purchased a new house circa 0.8 acres.

The lawn is very uneven and there are many rocks sticking out of the ground. I tried digging these out at the weekend but I would have been there all week digging them out.

It's only really one side of the lawn (the biggest side) I was thinking of re-doing that side.

Would I have to cut up the whole lot or could I just set new topsoil on top of the grass that's there atm?

The driveway is a few inches higher so there is room for elevation.

All tips and ideas will be greatly appreciated.
