ps plus saves and gta 5 saves

having been out of gaming since September and having new ps4.i downloaded mgs ground zeroes how do I access my saves are they not backed up on a cloud some where? and I thought gta 5 ps3 progress was carried over onto ps4 version ?no sign of it on my rockstar social club account having got 100 per cent on ps3 version.help
