Where's my Grant ?????

    Hi , I got my bill last week, but from what I can see the €100 water grant the government announced previously hasn't been deducted ... I registered by phone before Christmas , so i just want to know why i havnt recieved my allowance ???

    The grant is not paid out until September 2015 unfortunately.

    As you have registered your details with us, you will be entitled to the Water Conservation Grant. However, as it will be issued by the Department of Social Protection from September 2015, it will be issued directly to you and not deducted from your Irish Water bill. For the latest information on the Water Conservation Grant please visit www.watergrant.ie

    Hi I was just wondering, we have registered with Irish water online and paid our bill last week. Do we need to do anything else to get the grant or will it arrive automatically?

    The Government is making a Water Conservation Grant of 100 Euro per year available to all primary residences that register with Irish Water by 30th of June 2015. Because you have already registered your details with us, you will be eligible to apply for the grant.

    Your details will be passed to the Department of Social Protection, who will contact all eligible households about registering payment details etc. Payment of the grant will commence in September.
