    Strange one,

Trying to copy Contacts from an M8 to another Android phone. Usually this is fine, all the Google Contacts are easy.

However, there are a good few contacts that appear in my People section as WhatsApp contacts.

I can't seem to be able to get this copied across to Google Phonebook section for easy transferral.

    Anyone come across this before?

That's because they are not in the Google addressbook, Easiest way to describe it is that Whatsapp adds them to their own addressbook which gets appended to the main addressbook in your contacts app. Once you install Whatsapp on your new phone, they will appear in the contacts section.

Ah okay, so they will come across automatically anyway? That is good to know, thanks.

Is there anyway to extract them from their own address book easily?
