Bank account in London

Hi: I know this has probably been asked a 1000 times but I'm moving to London and looking to get a bank account. I haven't got a permanent address yet as I might stay with a friend for a bit. Has anyone any ideas as to what a bank will accept ? What sort of proof will they accept I don't have bills in my name yet or credit…
