Don't forget that the ECC doesn't get underway until November this coming season so that may delay things a bit as annoying as that is for those wishing to travel.

Why are the fixture details for Europe always released so late, even when there is plenty of time to figure it out?
It was the same with the HCup. Can it really just be the tv stations? It's the traveling fans who lose out.

    it is primarily TV

however, last year there was also a delay in the actual deal being struck for French TV so this year it mat be earlier

On the other hand the first weekend of European rugby is delayed until 14/15 November due to RWC

If it's travelling fans who lose out then that suits the TV stations down to the ground, more people staying home to watch!

Still no fixtures for Pool 1 in the Challenge cup (Connacht's pool), because the Russians aren't sorted, I presume...?

Inconsiderate ba$tards. As I posted in the Connacht thread, my missus-to-be needs to know if I'm going to make the church on weekend 2, and I can't give her a firm answer til they announce the fixtures. I don't want her to be disappointed on the greatest day of her life... ;)
