Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

Herself has an Xperia Z1 compact. She hit it off something and the screen cracked and the touchscreen functions won't respond. The screen is €130 to get fixed and she isn't keen on doing that at present.

The problem is she wants to get all her information like media and contacts off the phone. The phone has to have the screenlock off when connected to the computer for the computer to open it up. The screenlock isn't possible to turn off as the screen doesn't function.

Is there any way of doing this?

You can use an OTG cable and a mouse to unlock the phone as long as you can still see the screen. You can then disable the screen lock which should solve your problem.

The only issue might be if you have to tap something on screen or change USB connection mode through the phone while connected - A USB hub might work for that but 'm not sure.
