So thinking about moving to Belfast with work.

Can anyone tell me the comparison of the cost of living with Dublin? Assume it is cheaper but would like to just know.

Rent ( 2 bed apartment in Dublin is E1400 ish )

Taxes ( think they are less in NI )

    Thanks,

    J

Compared to where in Dublin exactly? Like Dublin, Belfast has areas which are a lot more expensive than others.

I would dare say rent in Belfast on average in coparable locations is hell of a lot lower - maybe 25-40% less?

Taxes - income, national insurance - quite similar I think.

Taxes on cars - waaaaaay lower

    Cost of Fuel - higher
