    Hello

Just wondering if anyone could help with this question, can a child get baptised if the parents did not have a church wedding? Thanks

I don't think it will be an issue, many parents in second marriages and those who are not married at all get their kids christened, it shouldn't be a problem.

The general rule is that for an infant to be baptised there must be "a well-founded hope that the infant will be brought up in the Catholic religion". So you can expect their to be some exploration of whether the parents are living as Catholics and, if not, whether there can be any expectation of whether the child will be brought up in the Catholic religion. The issue of why the parents weren't married in the Catholic church may, or may not, be relevant to that, depending on the reasons for it.
